Audio Quants is a sponsor of the 23rd Hörspielsommer in Leipzig – one of Germany’s most significant events for the art of audio drama. Held annually in Richard-Wagner-Hain since 2003, the open-air festival attracts thousands of audio drama fans and offers a varied programme of competitions, live acts and workshops for children, teenagers and adults.
The programme included the public premiere of the latest episode of Who & What – Eliza Houdini und Millie Watson ermitteln on Sunday 13 July 2025 at 5 pm. In the cosy crime audio drama series, ambitious journalist Watson and fearless escape artist Houdini tackle cases that nobody else in the male-dominated London of around 1900 pays attention to. The series combines crime and humour with a story suitable for families: exciting and funny, but not bloodthirsty.
Audio Quants’ connection to Leipzig’s Hörspielsommer is a natural one: Audio Quants director, producer and co-founder Christoph Lehmann was born in Leipzig – and Who & What head writer Roman Klink lives in the city today. Supporting the Hörspielsommer association was therefore an obvious step for Audio Quants. Through sponsorship and a public premiere, the company connects its work on audio series with an established forum for the art of audio drama.
